European Style Pea Soup

Products :

  1. Low fat pork ribs,  1 lbs Polish sausage 1/2 lbs, 1 onion, garlic
  2. 2 carrots, 1/2 celery root, 1 leek  3 potatoes, 2 sticks of celery, parsley
  3. Lentils 16 oz, salt & pepper, caraway garlic powder, allspice, nutmeg,
  4. Grand coriander, cumin, hot paprika marjoram, bay leaves and pepper corn

Clean all veggies and cut Polish sausage and potatoes into small cubes. Put all veggies into the pot, add pork. Pour , cover with water. Add onion, garlic, bay leaves,  salt and pepper corn. Cover and cook for about 1 hour on low heat.

Next remove from the pot all meat,  carrot and celery root. Then remove rest of the veggies ( don’t need them anymore ). Now you have clean pork broth. Saved pork cut into the same cubes as a potatoes and sausage. Using fork smash carrots & celery root.

To the boiling broth add meat and sausage, then lentils, stir and let them cook for about 15 minutes. Then add potatoes with water, let them cook for another 5 minutes. Finally add smashed veggies. Stir and season with salt & pepper, then 1/2 tsp of all spices : nutmeg, caraway, allspice, coriander, red paprika, garlic powder. Finish with 2 tbsp of marjoram and 1 tsp of Maggie or soy sauce. Stir and serve.
